Craig Lindsley, PhD

Craig W. Lindsley is the William K. Warren Jr. Chair in Medicine and University Distinguished Professor of Pharmacology, Chemistry and Biochemistry at Vanderbilt University and the Director of the Warren Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery (WCNDD), a clinical-stage biotech within VU. Dr. Lindsley has over 25 years of experience in drug discovery and development in both industry, with successful stints at Eli Lilly and Merck, and academia. His major area of focus has been the development of the field of GPCR allosteric modulators, for which numerous key proof-of-concept tool compounds and clinical candidates have been developed for both mGluRs and mAChRs.

Dr. Lindsley is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for Chemistry, the National Academy of Inventors, the American Association of Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Dr. Lindsley received his bachelor’s in chemistry from California State University, Chico and received his PhD from the University of California, Santa Barbara and conducted postdoctoral studies at Harvard University.
